High school membership program to continue in 2008
URA offers free one-year membership to NHSRA members
The URA is pleased to announce that the high school membership program will continue for a second year. Under this program, any member of their state's high school rodeo association may receive a free membership to the URA for one year, provided that member has not previously purchased a URA card.
Members competing on high school cards are eligible to qualify for finals and receive all year-end awards, with the exception of Rookie of the Year awards. The first year that a contestant purchases their URA card, as long as they are still 21 years of age or younger, will count as their rookie year for awards purposes.
In 2007, six high school cardholders qualified for the URA Finals, and two of those members qualified in two events.
To join the URA on a high school card, print and complete the membership application from this site, get it notarized, and mail the application to URA secretary Muff McGee. You must also write your card number from the high school rodeo association somewhere on the application.
For more information on the URA's high school membership program, contact URA secretary Muff McGee at 620-625-2566 or ura@carrollsweb.com.
