In 2005, Missy became the first woman in the URA's 43-year history to win the All-Around title, piling up over $11,000 in winnings during the season. She successfully defended her title in 2006, winning over $16,000 in the barrel racing and breakaway roping events. Bennett was a finals qualifier in both events in 2006. Bennett also won barrel racing championships in 2005, 2006, and 2007 after finishing second in 2004. She competes in both barrel racing and breakaway roping on the same horse, Doc.
