Bareback Riding
2007 PRCA Prairie Circuit Champion Justin Williams (DeSoto, KS) opened the Finals with a 79 point ride to win the go. Many-time URA Champion Billy Griffin (Kansas City, MO) scored 78 points for second. A.J. Colletti (Pueblo, CO) took third with a 73 point ride, and Chance Vick (Odessa, MO) scored 70 points for a fourth place check.

Steer Wrestling
Troy Callaway (Fort Dodge, IA) won the first go with a 4.86 second run, just ahead of Tyrel Reichert (Illinois City, IL) at 5.05 seconds. Wes Huff (Moulton, IA) threw his steer in 5.77 seconds, and Rick Morgan (Louisburg, KS) took fourth with a 5.80 second run.

Forty and Over Calf Roping
Tim Kraus (Pacific, MO) started out with a win, roping and tying his calf in 9.10 seconds. Former NFR qualifier Bill Huber (Albia, IA) was second in 9.49 seconds, and Bryan Reiter (Springfield, MO) was third in 9.58 seconds. Doug Hazelbaker (Redfield, KS) finished fourth with a 10.03 second run.

Saddle Bronc Riding
Just three horses were covered in the first round. Keith Brauer (Smithton, IL) and Matt Ory (Winterset, IA) split the round as each scored 78 points. Andrew Leeper (Leon, IA) was third with a 75-point ride.

Breakaway Roping
Nathan Ponder and Jayna Dyer were the only ropers to catch their calves in under four seconds. Ponder (Troy, MO) won the round with 3.39 second run, and Dyer (Ottawa, KS) was second in 3.67 seconds. Kristen Krull (Blue Mound, KS) finished third in 4.06 seconds, and Jana Hazelbaker (Redfield, KS) was fourth in 4.23 seconds.

Team Roping
Team Spurgin (Eminence, MO) made the first sub-seven second run of the night, heading and heeling their steer in 6.32 seconds. Scott and Ryan won the go, followed by Bryan Reiter (Springfield, MO) and Sam Kueffer (Nixa, MO) with a 6.97 second run. Jason Arndt (Fort Scott, KS) and Chad Mathes (Lawson, MO) were third in 7.11 seconds, while Troy Kitchener (Liberty, MO) and Todd Reece (Winston, MO) took fourth with a 7.19 second run.

Barrel Racing
New Bloomfield, MO's Ashley Fletcher had a smoking run of 14.099 seconds to win the first go. Barrel racing director Angela McGraw (Tonganoxie, KS) was second in 14.293 seconds. Chrissy Dotson (Washington, IL) got a third place check for her 14.512 second run, and reigning champion Missy Bennett (Colony, KS) took fourth in 14.613 seconds.

Calf Roping
Jeff Miller (Blue Mound, KS) started the 2007 Finals red hot, winning the round in 8.93 seconds. Three of the event's up-and-coming superstars also won checks as Cody Griffith (Gilman City, MO) took home second place with a 10.68 second run. Jared Kempker (Eugene, MO) was third in 10.79 seconds, and Michael Gilman (Thompson, MO) finished fourth in 11.33 seconds.

Bull Riding
Seven bulls were ridden in the first go-round, leaving the average race wide open after one night. Matt Boos (Wathena, KS) won the go with a 79-point ride on a CR McKellips bull. C.J. Waller was second (78 points), and Chris Carroll and Timothy Vaughn split third and fourth with a pair of 77 point rides.
